Devotion. Chapter 2 in this journey is all about devotion to music, to art, to expression, devotion to the musical journey. I have spent more than half of my life dedicated to creating music, but in all those 13 years I never once was fully, wholeheartedly devoted to making my dreams a reality, and helping those around me make their dreams a reality.

In this chapter and phase of my life and musical journey, I truly want to share myself, my insanely strange musical explorations, my work, my ideas. I want to show the world everything I've spent all these years perfecting. I am hyper-focused on my craft and creating work that stands up strong on its own, free of any creative chains trying to box it in.

More Than This is a testament to the ups and downs I have faced in life, especially pertaining to my musical journey. From being on top of the world as a 17 year old with over a million streams, topping radio charts, becoming cocky and complacent, to being humbled over time and brought back down to earth, with a few hard lessons learned and a new chip on my shoulder.

​

I don't yet fully know what that chip is on my shoulder is, or what it's purpose in my musical journey is - But I feel like I have a lot to prove to myself and a lot to give the world. I feel I have a message that resonates through my music , a message with a purpose far greater than myself and my ambitions. A message of protest, in a time of mass manipulation. A message of empathy in a world of heartlessness. A message of hope and motivation, in a world where we feel deprived of purpose.

I have never in my life, been this energised and focused. I have so much love for every single one of you, and I can only hope that my music helps you feel that love within yourself, and spread it outwards like a lamp in the dark.
